Tom Rice has owned and operated the Magnolia Grill in Fort Walton Beach for the past 24 years.
Rice is active in the local and military communities. His community service includes Veterans Tribute Tower Committee; Chair of the Veterans Florida Board of Directors; Executive Committee as Treasurer for Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida; Executive Committee as Secretary for Salvation Army of Okaloosa & Walton Counties; Chair of the West Point Society of Northwest Florida Service Academies Appointments Board for Florida.
Because of his community service, Tom has received the following awards and achievements: Florida Veterans Hall of Fame Class (2017), Commemorative Partner for the USA’s 50th Vietnam War Commemoration Committee (2016), and Northwest Florida Daily News’ Person of the Year (2015).
Tom served in the United States Army for 27 years including Active Duty and Reserve Duty. He retired as a First Sergeant.
His education includes an Associates of Arts Degree from Okaloosa-Walton Junior College.
