State Representative for District 4, Rep Patt Maney and Okaloosa County Commissioner for District 5, Commissioner Drew Palmer served as the guest speakers for the Village 7 ground breaking held on Friday, Oct 17th. Brooke McLean, AFEV President and CEO, shared "Our organization has a history of caring and benevolence and we carry on the legacy of visionaries and leaders before us that saw what Bob Hope Village could be and what this unique community would mean to its residents and the surrounding communities. We are excited to get started on this project are grateful for the local leaders and community that helped us get here."
Village 7 represents the next phase of growth for the Air Force Enlisted Village, expanding its ability to serve surviving spouses of retired enlisted Air Force members and retired couples. The new addition will feature modern, accessible residences and community spaces designed to enhance connection, comfort, and independence.
